Terminator Salvation prerelease predictions

The new Terminator film will be released soon. This will mark the 4th installment of a series that has everything to do with "The Singularity".

It is interesting to see how the series has progressed. In the first film the A.I. machine was a horrible monster. It's sole mission was the annihilation of the human race. This played on people's natural fears of artificial intelligence, and technology in general. In "T2" the same drama from the first film was played out, but with a very important twist. This time the machine became the hero of the film. There was of course another machine which was evil, but it was undeniable that T2 was crafted to make the audience fall in love with Arnold Schwarzenegger's character. There is an interesting scene in which Sara Connor sees the terminator as a more superior father than any man could be. And of course there were Arnold's famous last words "I know now why you cry..." He's lowered into molten steel and the audience cries for him.

The fact that T2 is basically the same movie, but updated with a more A.I. friendly plot should not be dismissed. In my opinion this reveals the entire point of the Terminator series: to prepare the mass mind for the arrival of artificial intelligence machines. Hollywood films are not simply made for your entertainment, they have a profound impact on society as a whole.

"Terminator Salvation" looks as though it will take the human/machine relationship even further. In the trailer the machines begin replicating human tissue, and creating what appear to be highly advanced cyborgs. Of course the first film played with this idea, but again the idea of a cyborg was extremely gross in 1982. This time the cyborg is "the only chance you've got", or whatever that line is. I'm sure that this film will play heavily into the human/machine merger concept of transhumanism. Our ideas about consciousness, artificial intellgence, and what it means to be human are being updated. This is being done for a very specific purpose, because the big players in Hollywood are involved in a game that you haven't even learned the rules to yet.

Exploring Life extension ( Documentary)

A film by the Immortality Institute that explores various aspects of extreme life extension including cryonics (cryogenics), caloric restriction, transhumanism, and other scientific pursuits of extreme life extension. Related websites: http://www.Mprize.org http://www.ImmInst.org

This films covers the following topics
Cryonics (cryogenics), anti-aging, caloric restriction, transhumanism, nanotechnology, technology, nanobots, immortality, Methuselah Mouse Prize, scientific conquest of death, longevity, fitness, health, population control, birth rate, death rate, rejuvination therapies, aging reversal, Aubrey de Grey, live forever, cancer research, technology, nanobots, research, gene therapies, disease, transplants, physics, chemistry, computers, computing, bioscience, nutrition, exercise, philosophy, sociology, politics, history, elixir, drugs, singularity, Ray Kurzweil, matrix, supplements, suspended animation, cryo sleep, scientific debate, MIT, Technology Review, Cambridge conference sponsored by Larry Ellison, overpopulation, 1000 year lifespan, thousand year lifespan, infant mortality, science breakthroughs, futurist, future, war on aging, medical, youthful, retirement, computer engineer, genetics, research, SENS

Alchemy and the origin of the universe

Do you believe that the art of alchemy died with the rise of chemistry and biology? (No)
Its simply has taken us this long to cypher the elements of the universe, the quest for immortality is still on. We (Humanity) believes that everything in the universe arose from "One" source this (One) is what has been the guiding light of our religious paradigms.

Seeking and searching for union we have refined the earth and all its elements to make our transistors which have led our new magick of nanotechnology. In the age of transalchemy theres no more need to boil, distill anything anymore. From here on out well build our reality one atom at a time.

One day even one atom at a time wont be enough and reality is now subject to be changed one particle at a time.

Yet for what end? It appears that the end goal is to return to the start of time a recreation of all that existed at the singularity point. Union with the universe is the goal. Mans quest to place himself as a God of hes own reality.

Paradigm Shift ---- A TransAlchemy production

No time to waste lets pick up where we left off in the video...

Today we have a system where science and technology go hand in hand. New science leads to new technology, and new technology has aided the progression of science. We now find ourselves at the cusp of scientific revolution through the use of technology in which machines dictate to science what reality is; In a parallel fashion these technologies are also playing into our religious paradigms by promising us things such as eternal life.

There is a paradigm shift which is now happening in terms of understanding and exploring our universe and ultimately our reality. Sure it may have taken us several millennia to get here but more progress will happen as our technology starts to teach us new things about our universe.

For instance
Scientists discover new particle that may rewrite how matters created
http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/health/scientists-discover-new-particle-that-may-rewrite-how-matters-created_100170026.html

the article reads

"Scientists working with the Fermilab atom smasher in Illinois, US, have discovered an unexpected new subatomic particle, which may break all known rules for creating matter."

This is just one example of what we mean when we say that technology will now tell us what reality is... Now do you believe this is an isolated incident or the beginning
of a paradigm shift? You be the judge.

Meet Adam our first Artificial Intelligence scientist.

Now why do you think we named it Adam? Outside of the obvious, well its mostly due to Man's (and i say this loosely) desire to be God. This "Transformation" is nothing more than age old alchemy. We must never believe that the art form died. It simply has changed and transformed into what we see today. Mind you it takes time to refine the earth to make the materials that are now used in your phone, computer, car, etc. All of this refining could be considered the work of the alchemist.

I hope this has provided insight into why we call this site Transalchemy.

VA Highschool Students Discuss Transhumanism

The discussion on transhumanism intensifies. Here is a news story about a high school that had an assembly to discuss the implications of being able to manipulate the human genome.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GqhaMRUTqQo

"Should society or government step in when it comes to changing the genes of a child before birth?"
This is your typical ice-breaker newscast which presents a subject of monumental importance in terms of a rhetorical question. What if we could do this?

The ability to genetically design human beings raises an innumerable amount of ethical questions. Questions which are far too much for the older generations to even cope with (generally speaking). Transhumanism does not fit into a baby boomer's paradigm, and they are far too old to change their minds so radically. Young people on the other hand are quite malleable in terms of world-view. They have yet to establish any firm convictions about the world and their own personal moral code. High school students are being confronted with this issue because they will be seeing these advances in genetics being put to use during their lifetimes. This assembly is all part of normalizing their future so that they won't be outraged when it actually happens.

It is not a radical fantasy to believe that in the future human beings will be genetically designed for specific purposes. The right to bear children could be based on a utilitarian model which a benevolent government mandates in order to keep society running smoothly. This fits hand in glove with all of the "There are too many people in the world" propaganda campaign that has been ongoing for some time now.

We are quickly approaching "An age of scientific logic and reason".

The Transhumanism PR Campaign has started

With each new movement there comes a prophet, and this movement needs to be culturally accepted as more and more work is done to strip our humanity away.
So as we get closer and closer to the singularity all these technologies will be paraded as earth changing and beneficial.

Yet the public is not being told the dangers that comes with convergence, this is where we come in. What is ultimately being taken from us is our individual sovereignty.

For instance do you facebook , youtube, or myspace, do you wish to share your life with pictures words and videos, why stop there when you can share you memories.
Yet once you let technology into your mind can it be culturally undone?

Would you accept you personal memories to be broad casted to the world?

When does technology cross the line, is there barriers to what should and should not be done with technology?

Just keep all this in mind as they try to dazzle you into this digital heaven.

The Age of Transitions

This is my documentary, The Age of Transitions. It has received much attention on the internet with over 128,000 views on google.

http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2615496775977574586

I made this film in an effort to better round out the discussion on Transhumanism. One of its main points is that the very term Transhumanism was coined by Julian Huxley. Mr. Huxley was a high ranking and unapologetic eugenicist, not to mention the first ever Director General of UNESCO. Is it a coincidence that such a ruthless spirited creature was picked to head up the United Nations world educational project? No, there are no such coincidences. There is a very direct push towards secular world humanism. Transhumanism is Humanism. And the not so obvious goal of humanism is to literally evolve through the use of the intellect. The eugenics movement believed that the best way to bring about such evolution was through good breeding. Survival of the fittest, the fit breed with the fit. It all sounds so reasonable, but then you read the quotes from Charles Davenport, Margaret Sanger, and Julian Huxley and you understand what all this truly means. At least I hope you can understand.

Julian Huxley
Of course everyone wants to live forever. Throughout the ages that has been the hope of mankind. In the past eternal life was promised by religion. Now we are being told by men of science that we can live forever right here on Earth. We can get to Heaven in a space-ship, and tada, we have a beautiful utopia for everyone. Everyone? Don't bet on it. I'm sorry to have to break this to you, but this world is run by con artists. They will say anything to make you jump through a hoop. Sure, it may very well be possible to extend life by dramatic spans in the near future, but what is it worth to keep YOU around? Do you think that longevity will be doled out like candy? The people behind all of this are eugenicists, and they believe that they are superior to you. Their goal is immortality for all those evolved beings who deserve it, i.e. themselves. Greed 101.

Enjoy the film. Please let me know what you think of it.

Welcome to TransAlchemy

Welcome to Transalchemy, a blog by ParticleIon and ADDTV. We have created this blog in an effort to expand upon our videos, and to raise awareness on some very serious issues. Please be sure to stop by regularly to see our posts about Transhumanism, converging technology, Singularity, Artificial Intelligence, life extension, et al, as well as insight on the more esoteric side of these scientific endeavors.

Public awareness on these issues is currently extremely lacking. However, we are seeing more and more press for the proponents of converging technology. You may have seen Ray Kurzweil on Glen Beck recently. As time goes on we are guaranteed to be hearing more and more about this, because like it or not converging technology continues to push forward at an ever growing speed. A buzz is being planned to make this all seem acceptable to you in the future. We are here now to warn you not to join in on this hive mind.

We hope to offer critical insight on the transhumanist vision for the future. To simply read the literature of it's proponents and agree with what they are saying is not enough. Questions must be asked. Critical issues cannot be glossed over. We have to weed our way through the muck of hypothetical hypothesis, and see what this is truly all about.

This strange place we find ourselves in today is no accident. Technology has been lead to this point for a reason. There is a definite direction that this is going, although at some point it seems inevitable that things will be beyond the limits of human control (A.I.). Let's think long and hard before we allow ourselves to get to that point.

Google's April fools joke toys with Ai

As part of an ongoing april fools jokes from google today the unveiled there cluster based artificial intelligence computer.
But based on what google founders have said in the past is it really a joke?

Introducing CADIE

Research group switches on world's first "artificial intelligence" tasked-array system.

For several years now a small research group has been working on some challenging problems in the areas of neural networking, natural language and autonomous problem-solving. Last fall this group achieved a significant breakthrough: a powerful new technique for solving reinforcement learning problems, resulting in the first functional global-scale neuro-evolutionary learning cluster.

Since then progress has been rapid, and tonight we're pleased to announce that just moments ago, the world's first Cognitive Autoheuristic Distributed-Intelligence Entity (CADIE) was switched on and began performing some initial functions. It's an exciting moment that we're determined to build upon by coming to understand more fully what CADIE's emergence might mean, for Google and for our users. So although CADIE technology will be rolled out with the caution befitting any advance of this magnitude, in the months to come users can expect to notice her influence on various google.com properties. Earlier today, for instance, CADIE deduced from a quick scan of the visual segment of the social web a set of online design principles from which she derived this intriguing homepage.

These are merely the first steps onto what will doubtless prove a long and difficult road. Considerable bugs remain in CADIE'S programming, and considerable development clearly is called for. But we can't imagine a more important journey for Google to have undertaken.

For more information about CADIE see this monograph, and follow CADIE's progress via her YouTube channel and blog.

The birth of TransAlchemy

The more we explore the transhuman's or Humanity+ movement, the more we both fall into a consensus that this technological nirvana that is being sought out by our modern day magicians ( scientist )is nothing more than the proverbial fruit from the tree of life.

At no point do we believe that a singularity wont help humanity, our greatest fear is the creation of what we now call the negative singularity. We believe that by providing information to the general public that we can spur all the ethical questions that need to be brought up as we explore the possibility of leaving our humanity behind and enter this so called digital heaven.
