Just another example of converging technology being introduced by popular culture before it actually exists.
I get the feeling that this particular video is trying to tell us that artificial intelligence will be a natural product of divine intelligence. Because "All is full of love", A.I. will be endowed with the same divine and intangible spirit that mankind has. This video takes the humanization of machines to an extreme. It certainly sets the precedent for an "Age of Spiritual Machines."
The fact is that we have no idea what A.I. will eventually be like. It could very well have a spiritual nature, but why would it end up being this human? The speculation involved here gets to be too much for me, and realistically speaking, we have no idea what will happen.
Machines have been anthropomorphized by pop-culture for a very long time. This is an extremely important point. Most people have preconceived notions of what A.I. machines would end up being. We want machines to be our buddies. We want robots to help us with human endeavors. We expect that machines will be the product of man. As time has gone on these themes have progressed to evermore extreme tangents.
The transhuman merger of man and machine is being introduced first in the realm of fiction. Evolution of biology cannot happen without first establishing an evolution of ideas.
