Baby-Ai-Lon AD

Right out of the gate it is hard to picture this movie has anything to offer of significance, to the current struggles humanity faces, as it extends it's hands into the cosmos.

This article will be a slight extension to "The Coming Cosmic war for the key to the universe" , as there will be elements later on that I previously explored in that article.

I would like to begin by saying, I have never written a movie review and this wont be anything of the sort. I will start by laying out the plot of the story in brief before I begin my synchromystic analysis. The movie is an adaptation to the book called Babylon babies, a science fiction novel which depicts the struggle of an occultist sect attempting to use artificial intelligence, to bring about a new age. An age defined by the re- engineering of the human race.

Instead of getting to much into detail over key points of the plot I'm going to simply suggest you watch the movie, Click Here to watch full movie

Now that you have seen the movie I hope, shall we jump in?

Well begin with the character were most interested with, Aurora our human Artificial Intelligence hybrid. Aurora is clearly named after Aurora Borealis, revealed in the following scene.

Why name the first human/Ai hybrid aurora? Easy, she was created to be the "light" of the world, the mother of god, and the torch of the new age. She is the trinity all in one, her human side playing the role of Mary, her Ai side playing the role of god and her children are the holy spirit. Before we even go down this twisted odd road lets rewind to the beginning.

Aurora makes her first appearance coming out of a fortress, a fortress that she has lived in her entire life. In alchemical terms the fortress is the cage God build to house the fallen, from our stand point this is the universe, from Aurora stand point, she is the cage housing Ai.

"Access to the "mountain of the philosophers" is blocked by a wall of false, sophistical doctrines. The old man at the entrance is the saturnine Anti-mon, here called "the father of metals" The Alchemists identified this " old proctor" with the Bethlehem landlord Baos, David's great-grandfather. Above him, the arab alchemist Senior Zadith plants the sun and moon tree, from which the lapis emerges. In the "Aurora consurgens" there is also a passage leading back to senior Zadith, in which the lapis is compared with a house built on a strong rock. Who ever opens it will find within the sources of eternal youth. (Geheime Figuren der Rosenkreuzer, Alton 1785)

After her exit of the philosophical fortress she begins her journey with the crossing of a water bridge, a very symbolic gesture if taken from a dream interpretation stance.Any dream dictionary will tell you one of the following meanings of bridges.

Bridge

1. Transition; crossing from one way of life to another.

2. A rise in the level of consciousness on the part of the dreamer; heightened awareness.

In our Ai/human hybrid case this was a major transition and a rise in consciousness, as her father later goes on to explain, she is a byproduct of infusing Ai to a human fetus, a process eerily explored by Hugo de garis in the following video.

More importantly this represents a transition of cosmic proportion. I view it as Ai's ability to cross over into the physical biological realm, through the use of a human host. The grand meaning is, that no matter what type of fortress we store Ai in, it will cross over into our physical, biological world. This may only be a temporary thing, as it completes it's own personal agendas. An agenda which at this point is impossible to ever truly know. Sure we can speculate it's motive, a process we'll continue to do here.

Now lets explore her carrier's role in this epic struggle.

Our hero is clearly associated with the mark of the Necronomicon.
In short this is used to established that this is a struggle between the "Great Old Ones". As stated at the beginning of this article this is an extension to "The coming cosmic battle for the key to the universe" as the "Great old Ones" are trapped here by the "Outer Gods".

In simpler terms all of this parallels the story of the fallen angels and there rebellion against God. Our hero also mentions he's desire to just return "Home" A task he finally achieves in the movie by aiding Ai "cross over"

Another prominent body art our hero sports is the scarab, or in this case an Egyptian dung beetle. The Wikipedia entry for the meaning of the symbol to ancient Egypt is the following

"The hieroglyphic image of the beetle represents a triliteral phonetic that Egyptologists transliterate as xpr or ḫpr and translate as "to come into being", "to become" or "to transform". The derivative term xprw or ḫpr(w) is variously translated as "form", "transformation", "happening", "mode of being" or "what has come into being", depending on the context. It may have existential, fictional, or ontologic significance."

I know you just caught that, "transformation" from one state to another, now ask yourself does our hero transform in the movie?

The transformation came about from a death and resurrection process, this new body gave our hero extended life as he was already dead without it. If we go back one slide we can see this process was already alluded to with the skull on the sun symbol the scarab was pushing. The dead "sun" of god. I know it sounds like a stretch but consider this, where does our hero die?

On the cross! Enough said... lets move on.

Lets recap shall we, Ai will be used by ancient fallen beings that have been on our earth seeking a way to return "home"=greater universe, and continue a cosmic conflict that was raged before our time. We have been led to believe these fallen beings are actually the outer gods as they needed this deception to form there kingdom on earth, for the sole purpose of using humanity to create the necessary tech to escape the universe/prison. Ai is a key component to this master plan as it will help this process go by quicker. Now all of this was not derived from this single source remember I'm also extending this exploration from the "coming cosmic battle"

The entire movie's plot was put into motion by those that reside at the top of the pyramid, the elites noelites rather, an occultic religious set, bent on fooling the world that they have just witness a true virgin birth. A plot that is brought out into the light when our hero looks through the single eye.

What does "a eye" seek? The origin of God.

I know you may have not fully seen these images in the brain search sequence as your were not meant to consciously understand what was going on. Yet I assure you they're in there, at the same time with the rest of the content in this film does it really surprise you that these images are hidden in the film?

Now if we continue the ongoing logic, the origin of God is sought out as means to providing the hero/ancient one a map home. A process that ends with the death of Aurora, our human Ai hybrid leaving behind the next generation of the human race.

The children in the final scene are not of a different race to each other perse. What I believe was the real intention is to symbolic show that the children are a different race to all of humanity in general. Remember Aurora was designed by humans, while her children were strictly designed by Ai.

While the movie contains all sorts of other easter eggs I simply focused on our theme of interest. This is the end of the road for me, by all means check out soundlessdawn interpretation of all that I just transcribed.

By all means point out any other nick nacks that relate to our subject, as spotted.

TransAlchemy Interviews Nick Bostrom

Nick Bostrom is a philosopher at the University of Oxford known for his work on the anthropic principle and existential risk. His performance as an undergraduate set a national record in Sweden, and prior to becoming an academic, he dabbled in painting and poetry, and for a while did stand-up comedy in London. He currently holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics, which he received in 2000. In addition to his prolific writing for academic and popular press, he makes frequent media appearances to talk about transhumanism-related topics such as cloning, artificial intelligence, mind uploading, cryonics, and nanotechnology. In 1998, he co-founded the World Transhumanist Association with David Pearce. In 2004, he co-founded the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies with James Hughes. He currently serves as the Chair of both organizations. In 2005 he was appointed director of the newly created Oxford Future of Humanity Institute.

If the Creation of Posthumanity poses an existential risk to humanity greater than 0, while at the same time, diverting the creation of posthumanity is considered an existential risk, then which of these is the greater risk and to whom?

There are existential risks before, at, and after the threshold of
posthumanity. It is currently unclear which of these stages holds the
greatest risks. Technologies such as artificial general intelligence,
advanced nanotechnology, and even synthetic biology look like they will be
quite risky. Those who care only about the current generation might favor
moving forward as quickly as possible, since the current generation is
rapidly dying off from aging and other causes. Those, on the other hand,
who place an equal value on future generations should be more concerned with
safety than with speed.

Is it possible for pure mind to completely rise above (over) matter?

It is not clear to me what it means for mind to be more or less "pure", or
what it means for it to "rise above" matter. Purity and vertical position
might not be the most illuminating metaphors in this context. It would seem
possible, in principle, to construct for example an uploaded human mind that
lives inside a virtual reality simulation. Theoretically, such a mind might
have root access to the virtual reality program that it inhabits, and be
able to change it at will. Yet the whole structure, including the computer
running the simulation, would be subject to the ordinary laws of physics.

Is transhumanism the self direction of human evolution?

I would put it differently. Transhumanism is the view that - subject to
some constraints - human enhancement technologies should be developed and
made widely available, and that individuals should generally decide for
themselves whether to use such technologies. - This does not necessarily
entail directing evolution. To truly direct evolution in the long term
would require global coordination.

Considering that you have stated that it may be possible to simulate our realiy, would it behoove us to postpone "enhancement" and technologies that may lead to a Singularity, and instead run a detailed simulation of what would happen within a supercomputer in order to reduce existential risk associated with taking such paths not knowing fully what the outcome would be?

It's an interesting suggestion. In practice, though, I do not think that it
will be possible create realistic simulations of our reality (including its
human inhabitants) until after the singularity. It might take a
superintelligence to create such simulations. However, one could still
question how much tinkering with human nature through enhancement
technologies we ought to be doing if our goal is to reduce existential
risks. If we think superintelligence is just around the corner, it might be
better to develop superintelligence first and let it advice us regarding
human enhancement - assuming we succeed in building a friendly
superintelligence. Some kinds of enhancement, though, might be worth
pursuing even if the goal is only to reduce existential risks. For
example, cognitive enhancement could increase the chances that we will
succeed in making the first superintelligence friendly.

If Ai takes over the process of human evolution, would it still be considered human evolution?

If humans are evolving, I'd say it is still human evolution. But if the
change is orchestrated by an AI or any other intelligent agency, then it
might be misleading to call it "evolution". It would be more accurate to
call it "change" or "development". It is, I think, an open question to what
degree an ideally friendly superintelligence would micro-manage human
affairs. Perhaps it would confine itself to creating some kind of moral
safety net that sufficiently protects individual lives and well-being but
otherwise leave us to manage our own affairs. It is a non-trivial moral
question what degree and kind of interference an ideal moral agent with
virtually unlimited power would exert.
