Art is the crystalized expression of our thoughts solidified only to carry my thoughts into your thoughts and in that process we made art.
With each key stoke a fragment of my thoughts gets downloaded into this synthetic world in hopes that it reaches another person compatible in thought pattern to carry these thoughts into new life. This constant cycle of thought creation and back into thought is the process by which we entertain each other. Every time I write or make a video I am attempting to capture this holomorpic reality that exist inside of me and inside of all of us for the sake of sharing it with you. As we share this experience it unlocks our ability to dream and our imaginations.
So with that said, the creation of Avatar has left people lost with desires of not wanting to return to this current version of reality. It is no surprise that this new level of virtual realism has left people in a near dream like state, but remember the with all the computers used to make avatar, the computational capability to make that movie is still but a fraction of what you can render inside your own mind. Yet with the sheer power of our minds to create fantastical worlds is wasted as we spend most of our time hovering around the television, listening to music and other forms of digital entertainment which ironically were created by the those that know the power of the mind to create.
Think about what you are doing next time you play a videogame, watch a movie, or read a book. you are surrendering yourself to the creation of another individual's creative force, and while exploring new worlds are great for the mind's own ability to create, the minds own creation time must not be drowned totally out. The ratio spent creating and absorbing with only diminish as we dive deeper into the creation of virtual reality. Be aware that it does seem to be the case that these creations will become more and more intoxicating and alluring that it will only lead us into wanting to surrender our mind body and one day our soul to it.
In the act of surrendering, will come the death to our reality but more importantly our ability to create reality. A process that comes with also a heavy set of other philosophical implications. Once inside the confines of another's creation you are subject to there rules, there flow of events, freewill becomes an illusion and anything we create was only allowed to be created. Although what I speak us is applied to the creation of virtual reality this very well can be said for what we perceive is our current realm of existence. The mind feels stressed when constantly forced to think of its reality as a reflection of what is sees, but rather as the architect of all that it sees.
Therefore virtual realities will not aid to take the minds into new frontiers, but rather to force it to kill its version of reality in replacement for a new designed creation. There's never been a better time to repeat the wildly known statement.
